Jack Dewald, CLU, RHU is a 40+ year veteran of the life insurance business. He has built a career and a flourishing business around helping other insurance agents, financial advisors, brokers, and other professionals grow their practices and expand the insurance product offerings their clients require. Dewald served as President of Agency Services, Inc. for 26 years (1994-2020) after joining the firm in 1982. As of 2021, Dewald will serve as a Senior Advisor, remaining active with the firm to drive strategic initiatives and help to grow key relationships with customers and insurance carriers/suppliers. ASI was founded in 1962 and each year, hundreds of advisors & agents choose ASI to help them meet their clients needs for innovative and creative insurance solutions. Mr. Dewald is also Chairman of the Board of St Louis, MO based The Marketing Alliance, Inc., a publicly traded firm (OTC: MAAL) specializing in the national distribution and administration of various life, annuity and long-term care insurance products on a wholesale basis. Dewald is well known as a national thought leader in his industry and has served in top leadership roles of two key organizations over the years: (1) In 2003, as Chairman of NAILBA (National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies), whose members account for close to 50% of all life insurance sold in the US. In 2013, NAILBA presented Dewald with their highest recognition, the Douglas H. Mooers Award for Excellence. (2) Dewald also served as National Board Chairman of The LIFE Foundation in 2010. LIFE is a non-profit organization funded by 140+ carriers which seek to educate Americans about the role of life insurance as key to a sound financial plan. Dewald is a life member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) as well as the Top of the Table (TOT), an elite worldwide forum of MDRT members who focus on advanced sales concepts and ideas. Active in his community, he is an Elder at Grace Evangelical Church in Germantown and serves on the Board of Briarcrest Christian Schools. In 1998, the Memphis Business Journal recognized him as one their “Top 40 under 40”. He currently serves as a member of The Sam M. Walton College of Business Alumni Advisory Board at the University of Arkansas, where he received a degree in Finance & Insurance. Dewald has published many articles. In 2012, he wrote a small book designed to highlight how life insurance can be used successfully to protect futures and provide solutions to the many complex planning, tax, business and personal needs of the clients of ASI’s numerous advisors. Dewald is currently President of Hatchie Coon Hunting & Fishing Club of Tulot, AR. Founded in 1884, Hatchie Coon is one of the oldest continuously operating clubs in the Mississippi flyway.
