Jack Dewald CLU, RHU is president and owner of Agency Services, Inc., a full service life and health brokerage agency operating in Memphis, TN. Agency Services, Inc. has been servicing the needs of independent brokers & advisors in the southeastern U.S. since 1962. Jack’s executive duties include key broker development, management of the agency’s key insurance carrier relationships and staff development. A 30+ year veteran of the insurance business, Mr. Dewald has been a frequent speaker and author on numerous insurance topics.
Ten Sales Concepts to Relish, Remember & Repeat: Using life insurance to provide SECURITY to your clients while SECURING your relationship with them is Jack’s latest publishing endeavor. The sales concepts described in the booklet were taken from real life situations. Using humor and laid-back storytelling, Mr. Dewald gives agents scenarios that will help them communicate to clients how life insurance can provide security and be the cornerstone of any financial plan. The net proceeds from the sales of the booklet will be donated to the LIFE Foundation.
Mr. Dewald is the Chairman of the Board of The Marketing Alliance Inc., a publicly traded company (OTC: MAAL) specializing in the distribution and administration of various life, annuity and long term care products on a wholesale basis throughout the U.S. Jack was the 2010 Chairman of The LIFE Foundation, a national non-profit consumer education organization that is supported by more than 140 insurance carriers and 7 leading industry trade associations. Dewald also served as the 2003 Chairman of NAILBA (National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies); a former officer of the NAILBA Charitable Foundation; Past President (1991) of the Memphis NAIFA Chapter; and Past President (1987) of the Memphis Health Underwriters Association. He is also a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT).
Dewald is active in his community, having served on 3 different Boards of Trustees for private schools over the past 20 years. He is a member and Elder of Grace Evangelical Church and a member of Memphis East Rotary Club. In 1998, the Memphis Business Journal recognized Dewald as one of their “Top 40 under the age of 40″, and in 2002, he was a finalist in the Memphis Business Journal’s “Executive of the Year.” He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas (Finance/Insurance major).
Jack has been married to his wife Beth for 32 years, and they have one son, age 25 and a daughter, age 18.
